| Practice Management Seminar | |||
| The field of Pain Medicine is evolving rapidly. Along with the medical advances, there is an increasing number of practice environments emerging to provide clinical care. This half-day seminar will provide effective techniques for building a pain practice, analyzing an existing practice, identifying the best way to practice in the community, and administering and operating a successful medical business. Individual presentations will cover topics such as: systematic approaches to community-based pain care; creating a professional vision and developing the medical practice, professional, business, and site elements to support that vision; business start-up planning, decision making and building a business plan; referral development; and success and quality improvement measures. A question-andanswer session will give attendees the opportunity to follow up with specific questions relevant to their own practices. | |||
