Practice Management Seminar
The field of Pain Medicine is evolving rapidly. Along with the medical advances, there is an increasing number of practice environments emerging to provide clinical care. This half-day seminar will provide effective techniques for building a pain practice, analyzing an existing practice, identifying the best way to practice in the community, and administering and operating a successful medical business. Individual presentations will cover topics such as: systematic approaches to community-based pain care; creating a professional vision and developing the medical practice, professional, business, and site elements to support that vision; business start-up planning, decision making and building a business plan; referral development; and success and quality improvement measures. A question-andanswer session will give attendees the opportunity to follow up with specific questions relevant to their own practices.
